I was really excited by the idea of doing a review of this episode, as it features a lot of acts and dynamics that I enjoy in my relationship, including vaginal fisting, choking, a parental title (here the title is ‘mommy’, in my relationship it’s ‘daddy’), and spanking. It hit enough of our kinks that even though my partner generally prefers porn of men, he really enjoyed watching this episode- Lilian Rose’s playful, bratty bottom energy was something he particularly identified with.
The mommy play is actually what attracted me to this episode first. I’m very into the title of ‘daddy’ in my sex life, with my boyfriend and I both calling the other daddy. While the titles ‘daddy’ and ‘mommy’ get tied to ageplay a lot, the two aren’t inherently tied. Despite being into the title ‘daddy’, ageplay is actually one of my strict limits. (No shame if you are into it, it’s just very much not my thing.) While I obviously don’t know if Emma and Lilian consider their dynamic in this scene ageplay or mdlg, it didn’t really read that way to me. I really loved the way the use of ‘mommy’ added to the dynamic between Emma and Lilian- it was super playful and felt very intimate, adding a sort of softness and a nurturing dynamic to their scene.
When my partner and I engage in daddy play, it’s a dynamic that allows for less strict D/s dynamics than play involving other kinds of titles. The person out of the two of us who’s the sub (normally my boyfriend tbh) is allowed to be bratty and misbehaved as part of the scene, in a way they’re not with other dynamics. And Lilian is adorably bratty in this scene- while being spanked she asks Emma ‘is that all you’ve got for me?’. Emma’s bemused ‘you little shit’ in response actually made me stop groping my boyfriend, pause the episode, and take a few moments just to laugh in response, because it was such a fun, cute little exchange.
Speaking of spanking, Lilian get spanked in this episode, and it’s fantastic. She gets bent over Emma’s knee and spanked with a sparkly paddle that says ‘BRAT’. (That paddle is by Rich Love and I have an ALMIGHTY need for one.) I’m a big spanking fan, and my partner is an even bigger spanking fan, so this part of the episode was something we both loved. If you’re interested in spanking a partner, it’s definitely worth checking out some guide on safe zones for impact play. Hitting in the wrong place, like over the kidneys, can cause serious injury. Also, if you’re the spanking top, remember to take a break occasionally- wrist exercises can be really helpful in avoiding repetitive strain injury from spanking a bratty sub a lot.
This spanking is followed by Emma choking Lilian and vaginally fisting her and yes!! YES, YES, YES, this is 100% my thing!
Choking has become pretty common in porn recently, and more normalised because of it, but I do want to take a while to talk about the appeal of choking, as well safety when it comes to choking. Emma and Lilian engage in light choking here, much the same as the choking my partner and I engage in. The appeal for my partner and I isn’t asphyxiation, but more the symbolism of having my hand around his throat. As a choking top, I enjoy the rush of power that comes from the feeling that I have an immense level of control over my partner, and he enjoys the feeling of losing control. We don’t choke hard though- like with Lilian in this scene, my partner remains able to speak. And I also don’t restrain him when we engage in choking, so that he can tap me for attention, or physically move my body if he feels any kind of discomfort.
Even with light choking, remember that you should absolutely not press against the windpipe, and that pressure should be applied to the sides of the neck. I’d definitely recommend seeing if there are classes in your local kink community about safe choking- attending one is definitely why I now feel comfortable engaging in this kind of play, as I feel confidently able to manage the risks inherent to choking play.
While choking Lilian, Emma also fists her vaginally. Vaginal fisting is another act that’s relatively common in my sex life, and that I’m really excited to see in porn. I asked my partner to describe the appeal of being a fisting bottom, and he described it as “On a physical level I’m a bit of a size king, so I get a much more intense experience when I’m being fisted. From a kink perspective I guess its an act that heightens the experience of being dominated and I also get a kick out of pushing my limits.” As a fisting top, I love being able to feel the intense clenches my partner makes around my hand, as well as seeing them get stretched out.
If you’re going to fist somebody, lube is very much your friend, and I’m delighted to see the use of lube on screen here. Emma and Lilian do work up to fisting quite quickly, and while it is pretty accurate for how long it takes my partner and I to get to fisting now it’s a regular part of our sex life, if you’re a fisting newbie I’d definitely recommend being a lot slower. While there’s more to the scene after this, what I have thoughts on is actually in the Behind The Scenes section for this episode. In this, Emma talks about how it was challenging to try and be present in her body during the shoot- an experience I can definitely identify with. Both my boyfriend and I have dysphoria, and this can sometimes make navigating sex difficult. Lilian does a great job of responding to this- she notices Emma is looking distant, and asks if she’s feeling ok, or wants to change what they’re doing. That’s the advice I’d give somebody about how to support a partner who might not feel comfortable in their body- both my partner and I regularly check in with each other during sex, especially if we think the other looks a little distant or out of it.
While establishing boundaries before sex can help, what triggers feelings of dysphoria or discomfort can vary from day to day, or even within one scene. Sometimes I’m alright with having my genitals exposed during sex, and other times it causes me anxiety, while sometimes my partner is fine to have sex shirtless, and other times his binder absolutely must stay on. Because circumstances change, checking in regularly is super important, especially if you notice anything that seems ‘off’ about your partner. And this doesn’t just apply to the partner who is bottoming and/or subbing- dysphoria and discomfort can be triggered no matter what position you’re taking, and dom drop/top drop is a thing!
I think at this point it’s pretty clear I adore this episode of CrashPad. It hits so many of my kinks perfectly, and I love the dynamic between the two performers.
