Review: Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe

Bullet vibrators are often my go-to recommendation when people ask me for first sex toy recommendations. While not designed with penetration in mind, their small size, often approachable price point, ease of use during penetrative (partnered or solo) play, and versatility (while often designed for the vulva, they can be used for nipple, perineum, and external anal stimulation, as well as muffing) make them my favourite to recommend.

For the most part, I’m stuck in my bullet preference ways. The We-Vibe Tango (and its successor, the Tango X) are my gold standard, and part of my reason for asking for the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe was that it—at first glance—looked like an attempt at a dupe of the original Tango. There’s not a huge resemblance, but the flat edge and general shape were reminiscent enough that that was the impression I got.

Turns out I was completely wrong on the dimensions of the Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe— it’s significantly larger than the Tango or any other standard-sized bullet. But I was right to think it might be a good affordable alternative to the Tango, at least in that it’s a powerhouse for its price point.

The Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe

There are actually a good few products under the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe name, all with slightly different names. However, they all are basically the same except for colouration.

Speaking of colouration, the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibes are genuinely gorgeous! Instead of being one solid colour, these ABS plastic bullet vibes have colourful swirl patterns. I didn’t specify what colour I’d like to review, because they are honestly all so great.

The colour options are:

Fascinate: A blue, pink, and slight hint of purple
Entangle: A purple and pink
Fiery: Pink and coral
Sublime: Blue, pink, and a gorgeous teal
Mesmerize: A blue, galaxy-like swirl
Psyche: A psychedelic 70s swirl, with blue, pink, orange, blue, yellow and green

I received the Psyche for review, and I love it! The bright colours and hippie vibes aren’t normally my thing— I’m a metalhead who wears nearly exclusively black—but I find them really fun here.

As I mentioned, the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe is a little larger than the average bullet vibrator, at 4 inches long and with a 2.73 inch circumference. This does mean that it’s not necessarily compatible with some of the toys that use a more traditionally sized bullet vibrator for vibration, such as the Rocks Off anal beads or plugs. However, when playing around with the toys I own, I have found that it fits into holes made to be compatible with the Vac-U-Lock system, although it does take some wiggling.

As well as having versatility, the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibes also tick off two of my big ‘must have’s for recommendation toys— they’re waterproof (making them both easier to clean properly and making shower or bath play possible) and uses a USB cable to recharge. They’re also made of body safe materials— a hard ABS plastic, which Blush has lab tested for body safety.

The Good

So to begin with, I expected the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe to fall into the ‘very decent, would recommend with strength caveats, excellent as a first toy’ category. But those vibrations are really good, especially for the price! I tend to be super fussy with vibration, requiring reasonably rumbly and preferring pretty pinpoint stimulation in order to get off. While the orgasms I get with the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe aren’t as strong as those from the We-Vibe Tango X, Zalo Bess, or Doxy Wand, but they’re still pretty good!

There are 5 speeds and 5 patterns on the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe. I’m a known hater when it comes to vibration patterns, but something I appreciate about the Limited Addiction vibe is that it’s very easy to go back once I accidentally skip onto a pattern. Unlike the OG Tango—which I mostly loved, other than it having only one button and having to cycle through all the speeds and patterns again to get back to where I was—the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe has a plus and a minus button, meaning I can skip back to my previous setting more easily.

Even that first and lowest speed is pretty powerful and rumbly! I personally always skip to the highest setting, but I’m the kind of steel-cunted person who uses the Doxy exclusively on the highest setting, so am aware I’m not in line with average preferences. I’d say the one downside of the rumbliness is that the bullet size and shape means a fair amount of more buzzy vibration ends up in my hands when I use it. This isn’t a huge problem for me personally, but can get uncomfortable over time. In fairness though, the Tango did exactly the same thing and the Tango X only really overcame it by putting in silicone dampening material, so it’s a ‘feature of bullet vibrators’ thing rather than ‘failure of design in this specific case’ kind of thing.

The slightly flat edge of one side of the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe also gives it some versatility compared to both more traditionally rounded bullets (like the Gaia bullet) or more pointed ones (like the Rocks Off RO-80mm bullet), with the possibility of both pinpoint and broader stimulation. It’s not unique to the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe, but it is a feature I love to see!

The Bad

I’ve already mentioned the one big limitation of the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe— its size making it incompatible with some bullet-compatible toys. I think whether this is a big deal to you depends somewhat on the uses you expect to want from your bullet vibrator.

For what it’s worth, while I appreciate the versatility in use that bullet-vibrator compatible toys bring to the table, I personally don’t get nearly as much out of, say, a buttplug with a hole for a bullet vibrator as I do out of a buttplug with a built in motor. For me, the point of a bullet vibrator is to be an external vibrator of its own, and the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe can be put on as many parts of the body as an average size bullet vibrator. However, I am aware I’m saying that from the privileged position of owning lots of sex toys and having the means to get more specialised toys, so I understand that being a big factor for some people.

Other than the size, my only other gripe is a very minor one. While I love the two-button setup on the bottom from a ‘not having to cycle through everything’ angle, the two buttons do need holding down quite firmly in order to register a press. This is most an issue when turning the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe on or off, as this requires holding down the + or – buttons for a few seconds.

Overall

That small quibble and the size limitations aside, I really like the Blush Limited Addiction Power Bullet Vibe! They’re now going to become one of my top recommendations for first toys, especially given they combine an affordable price point, a rumbly motor, and excellent aesthetics.
