Review: Real Supple Poseable 10.5″ Dildo

The Real Supple Poseable line from Evolved are not the first bendable dildos. They’re not even the first bendable dildos I own—that title goes to the NYTC Shilo. However, they are the first body safe bendable dildos I’ve seen that come with a suction cup, and that was a combination that intrigued me. I’ve reviewed dildos with suction cups before, but they’ve always had a few shortcomings; firstly that I always lose a little length from positioning them correctly, and secondly that I always wished I could bend their shafts a little to make positioning easier. Having a bendable suction cup dildo with a 10.5 inch length felt like it could present the perfect solution.

A picture of a dildo standing up on a table. It is a light skin tone, and has no bend in itI do want to clarify that this is the reason I asked to review the 10.5 inch long toy from the Real Supple Poseable line. I am not—as much as this fact upsets me—a size queen, and my holes do not have the space for a dick that’s 10 inches long, including those made from (very soft) silicone. Which brings us to the subject of that very soft (I could even say ‘supple’) silicone.

The silicone of the Real Supple Poseable dildo is incredibly soft—I’d even say it’s a similar consistency to some of my packers. While my Shilo does also have very soft silicone, this is in part compensated for by having a very firm core, and while the Real Supple Poseable dildo does have a bendable core, it’s nowhere near as firm as the Shilo’s. That does make me wonder about the possibility of using toys from the Real Supple line (or at least, the smallest of the toys from the Real Supple line) as pack-and-play type products. Obviously the 10.5 inch edition is not suitable for packing no matter how soft the silicone is, so I can’t speak to that myself, but it definitely feels like something that would be possible.
That softness does have another couple of benefits. For one, I’m the kind of person who prefer soft silicone for insertion, and the soft plushy silicone of the Real Supple Poseable dildo is just unfff. It’s soft enough that I don’t really feel the texture in use, but that’s not something that really bothers me. The other benefit is that the softness—plus the fact that the Real Supple Poseable dildo bends—means it is excellent for giving dildo blowjobs. I’ve used it both in a harness for strap-on blowjobs and used it by myself—we love an oral fixation— and it works excellently for both!

However… I would also argue that the softness comes with a couple of caveats. And, unfortunately, those caveats relate to exactly what made me want to try out the Real Supple Poseable dildo for in the first place.

A dildo lying down on a table. It is a light skin tone, and has a light curve to itSo I mentioned that I’d hoped that a suction cup dildo that was poseable would allow for me to bend shafts to make positioning easier. I was able to bend the shaft of the Real Supple Poseable dildo into the right shape for fucking myself on it. The trouble was that the Real Supple Poseable dildo was so soft it didn’t really manage to keep its shape. I think this may be something more prominent in the 10.5 inch Real Supple Poseable dildo than it is in the smaller toys from that line, but it’s still definitely a drawback. No matter how I positioned the dildo, its own weight wanted to ‘pull’ the toy into a position where it hung downwards. I didn’t have any trouble positioning it so that it stood vertically, but this was a bigger issue when trying to position the toy horizontally.

So I very sadly have to say that the Real Supple Poseable dildo was a flop (literally!) in terms of what niche I expected it to be able to fill. For this reason, I also think it’s not the toy for you if you’re into vigorous thrusting—my style of dildo use is pretty static after insertion, so I didn’t run into much of an issue personally, but there was a little bending when I first inserted the Real Supple Poseable dildo.

My overall thoughts are pretty mixed. I did really enjoy using the Real Supple Poseable 10.5 inch dildo, but totally not in the way I expected it to be able to shine. In fact, I’d even say it’s a bit of a dud when it comes to the kind of use I expected to be able to put it to. If your preference are very specific—you like soft silicone but don’t like thrusting dildos—then I’m broadly positive about the Real Supple Poseable dildo line. If you prefer toys on the larger side as well, then the 10.5 inch is probably your jam! But if you’re looking for a toy you can thrust, you’ll likely want something with a firmer core—try the NYTC Shilo as an alternative.
